Tough on Drugs

People addicted to cocaine have an impaired ability to perceive rewards and exercise control due to disruptions in the brain's reward and control circuits, according to a series of brain-mapping studies and neuropsychological tests conducted at the US Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory.

I can't believe that they even needed to do testing for this. I think it is pretty obvious through visual observation of anyone that is on cocaine that they have something wrong with their perception. It is just unfortunate that it took a great deal of time and taxpayer money to come to this conclusion.
